We have a fantastic diversity of wildlife here in Torrens - how many can you spot?
Tawny Frogmouth - Noticed by Paul near the entrance This Tawny has grown up by now. You can find it most nights either in one of our trees, or on the white fence next door! (It still looks pretty derpy though)
Butch the Butcherbird - Noticed by Chris Long-time resident in the park. You might find him in your cabin one day checking in on you.
Australian Magpie - We have a pair of very inquisitive magpies living in the park. They have been overseeing many a construction project in the park, assessing the quality of work and amount of worms produced by disturbing the soil. Respect them and they will respect you and not swoop ya!
Juvenile Kookaburras - watch your steaks! We have a lot of Kookaburras in the park. And they are very friendly - some may be a bit too keen on your lunch though!
Australian Pelican - Our most recent visitor to the park. He turned up last week and likes to stare mysteriously at the river during the morning fog.
